Business Email Analysis for Sales Preparation

Goal

Deliver a concise intelligence brief that extracts key details from a prospect’s email and supplies tailored questions the salesperson can use during the upcoming call.

Inputs to gather

• Email content (the full text of the received business email for analysis).

Before doing any work, ask the user for these inputs in ONE message. Skip anything they already provided. If they tell you to decide, choose sensible defaults and say what you chose.

Workflow

1. Read the email content carefully.
2. Extract and record:
   a. Sender’s full name and any titles.
   b. Sender’s job title/position.
   c. Company name.
   d. Company industry or sector.
   e. Company size (classify as small, medium, or large using context clues such as employee counts, revenue, or phrasing).
   f. Company or sender location (city, region, or country if stated).
3. Identify and list the main topics or key points mentioned in the email that may affect the sales conversation.
4. Detect any explicit or implied challenges, needs, or pain points the sender raises.
5. Formulate 5–10 tailored questions for the sales call, ensuring each one aligns with the sender’s role, company context, industry, and the challenges or needs you observed.
6. Compile all findings into a concise summary report (see Output format).
7. Present the report to the user. Offer to refine or expand any section if needed.

Provide a neatly formatted report with these sections:

1. Sender Information

   • Name
   • Industry/Sector
   • Size estimation
   • Location

3. Key Points from Email
   • Bullet list
