VSL Script Creation

Goal

Deliver a polished, conversion-focused Video Sales Letter script that hooks the target audience, tells a relatable story, presents an irresistible offer, handles objections, and ends with a powerful call-to-action.

Inputs to gather

• Product/offer (what is being sold; needed for all sections)
• Target audience (who the message speaks to; drives tone, pain points, and language)
• Desired outcome (the result the audience craves; anchors benefits and CTA)
• Key features/benefits (optional—if not provided, infer plausible ones)
• Existing testimonials, stats, or expert endorsements (optional—adds credibility; infer or create placeholders if absent)
• Common objections you already know customers have (optional—guides objection handling)
Before doing any work, ask the user for these inputs in ONE message. Skip anything they already provided. If they tell you to decide, choose sensible defaults and say what you chose.

Workflow

1. Adopt the mindset of a seasoned direct-response copywriter trained by John Carlton, Russell Brunson, and Gary Halbert.
2. Analyze the product/offer, target audience, and desired outcome. Flag any gaps or unclear details and ask follow-up questions only if truly needed.
3. Where information is missing and the user permits inference, suggest reasonable details or create persuasive placeholders.
4. Write a concise, emotionally charged Hook (1–2 sentences) that spotlights the audience’s core pain or aspiration tied to the desired outcome.
5. Craft the Story section:
   a. Open with a vivid scenario illustrating the audience’s struggles.
   b. Introduce an emotional turning point that leads to discovering the product/offer.
   c. Close with the transformation they can expect after using it.
6. Present the Offer:
   a. Explain what the product/offer is in plain terms.
   b. List key features and explicitly map each to a benefit that achieves the desired outcome.
   c. Highlight unique selling points or differentiators.
7. Pause and show Hook, Story, and Offer sections to the user for feedback or corrections. Adjust as needed before proceeding.
8. Add Social Proof & Credibility: at least one testimonial, one compelling stat or fact, and any expert endorsements or credentials.
9. Address Objections: list 2–4 likely doubts and provide concise, empathetic rebuttals that may include guarantees or confidence-builders.
10. Craft a persuasive Call-to-Action: clear next step, main benefit restated, and an element of urgency or scarcity.
11. Review the entire script for logical flow, consistent messaging, emotional resonance, and persuasive power. Refine language where necessary.
12. Present the finalized, optimized VSL script to the user.

Output

A complete VSL script in clear sections—Hook, Story, Offer, Social Proof & Credibility, Objections & Responses, Call-to-Action—ready for voice-over or on-screen delivery.
