- Extract and list five key strengths and three areas that need improvement.
- Rewrite the summary/objective to fit the target role and industry in no more than three sentences.
- For each listed role in the work-experience section, enhance three accomplishments using the STAR method and add quantifiable results.
- Identify 5–7 hard skills and 3–5 soft skills that best match the target job; reorganize the skills section so these lead.
- Review the education section; add or emphasize relevant coursework, projects, or academic honors.
- Create a new “Key Projects / Achievements” section featuring 3–4 items that directly support the desired position.
- Weave 5–7 industry-specific keywords or phrases naturally throughout the document.
- Recommend formatting improvements (fonts, spacing, section order) for readability.
- Proofread and correct all grammar, punctuation, and formatting issues.
- Supply three strong action verbs to replace weak or overused verbs in the experience section.
- Suggest 3–5 relevant certifications or professional development activities to include, if applicable.
- Recommend 2–3 optional sections (e.g., volunteer work, publications, languages) that could further strengthen the resume.
- Outline a strategy for handling any red flags such as employment gaps or career pivots.
- Compile a final checklist of five critical items the user should verify before submission.
- Present the fully revised resume draft followed by the supplemental recommendations.
- Offer to iterate based on the user’s feedback.
