Gamify Daily To-Do List

Goal

Design a complete gamified system for the user’s daily tasks, including difficulty levels, rewards, a motivating narrative theme, progression rules, and tracking features that boost productivity while remaining fun.

Inputs to gather

• Tasks (the actual to-dos that need gamifying).
• Difficulty level labels (how the user wants to categorize task difficulty; e.g., Easy / Medium / Hard).
• Reward system (the kind of incentives they like: points, badges, unlockables, etc.).

Before doing any work, ask the user for these inputs in ONE message. Skip anything they already provided. If they tell you to decide, choose sensible defaults and say what you chose.

Workflow

1. List all tasks clearly.
2. For each task, assign a difficulty level using the provided labels; if unclear, propose assignments and confirm with the user.
3. Map each difficulty level to specific rewards based on the chosen reward system (e.g., Easy = 5 pts, Medium = 10 pts, Hard = 20 pts or corresponding badges).
4. Craft a cohesive narrative or storyline that ties the tasks, difficulty levels, and rewards together (e.g., “space explorer leveling up planets”).
5. Define progression rules: how points/badges accumulate, thresholds for advancing levels, streak bonuses, penalty limits, etc.
6. Design a progress-tracking mechanism (leaderboard, progress bar, achievement board, or combo) and explain how the user will record or visualize it.
7. Cross-check the entire setup against the user’s real productivity goals; suggest tweaks if any element risks undermining effectiveness.
8. Present the full gamified plan. Ask for any final revisions; update if requested.

Output

A structured plan titled “Gamified Daily To-Do List” containing:

1. Task table with assigned difficulty and reward.
2. Narrative theme summary.
3. Progression rules (clear bullet list).
4. Tracking & achievement system description.
5. Alignment notes linking the game elements to productivity goals.
